Job summary

Britek Solar is seeking an Assistant Solar Project Manager in Bolton to support the planning and delivery of solar PV and renewable energy projects alongside engineers, subcontractors and clients.

The role involves developing technical proposals, coordinating project activities, managing budgets and supplier invoices, and ensuring projects stay on track. Experience in solar PV, battery storage or EV charging is useful, with a proactive, organised approach and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
• Ability to understand technical proposals and support design development.
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong client relationship and communication skills.
• Good commercial awareness, including understanding of project costs and budgets.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and health and safety legislation.
• Practical, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination and delivery of solar PV and renewable energy projects.
• Support the development of technical proposals and project designs.
• Work closely with engineers, subcontractors and suppliers to keep projects on track.
• Assist with project budgets, cost control, purchase orders and supplier invoices
• Pricing remedial works and spotting opportunities to grow the account
• Ensure clear and effective written and spoken English communication.
