Job summary

Britek Solar is seeking an Assistant Solar Project Manager to support the planning, coordination and delivery of solar PV and renewable energy projects from its Bolton base.

You will work with engineers, subcontractors and clients, helping develop technical proposals, manage budgets and keep projects on track. Experience in solar PV, battery storage or EV charging is a bonus, with a proactive, detail-oriented approach prized.

Qualifications

• Must have strong organisational and project coordination abilities
• Ability to understand technical proposals and support design development
• Excellent numerical skills with attention to detail
• Strong client relationship and communication skills
• Good commercial awareness including understanding of project costs and budgets
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and health & safety legislation
• Practical, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving
• Experience in solar PV, battery storage or EV charging would be a real bonus

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination and delivery of solar PV and renewable energy projects.
• Support the development of technical proposals and project designs.
• Work closely with engineers, subcontractors and suppliers to keep projects on track.
• Assist with project budgets, cost control, purchase orders and supplier invoices
• Pricing remedial works and spotting opportunities to grow the account
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills are essential.
