Job description

Solar FarmElectrical Improvers/Mates/Labourersrequired to work 15 miles West of Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.

Please do not apply if you do NOT drive or have your own transport. You must also have your UTR number through CIS and you must have a valid CSCS or ECS Card to be allowed on site.

You will also undergo random drug tests from time to time, so do not apply, if you think you will fail these tests.

My client is happy to take on a Domestic Improver/Electricians Mate or a good Labourer,if you fancy a change of scene and would like to try something different from Domestic electrical work. Solar is more niche, and full training will be provided.

Job Responsibilities

• Pulling cables & cablelaying
• Make off MC4 connectors at panels and combiner boxes.
• Terminate communication cables
• Further down the contract you will be asked to do more hands-on electrical work.
  
  

Working Hours

You must be able to work Mondays to Fridays from 7am - 5pm with one hour for lunch, so this is a 9 hr day, 45 hr working week. Due to the busyness of the site, we cannot take on anyone that cannot work the full week or have exams, college courses etc... There may be overtime hours on the Saturday too, all being well.

This is 3 months minimum contract and if you end up being a diamond, there will be more opportunities with my client, as they are always picking up new Solar Farms.

Rates vary but are non-negotiable due to skills and certs;

• If you are a labourer with a valid Green CSCS card then you will be paid £15.55ph
• If you are a mate with 2 yrs electrical with an ECS and Level 2 then you will be paid £16.66ph.
• If you have 3 yrs+ electrical skills as an improver, ECS and Level 3 then you will be paid £17.77ph.

• UTR no under CIS Sole Trader Scheme.
