Job summary

Winberry, partnering with leading renewable energy firms, is seeking experienced Solar Electricians for ongoing contract work across commercial rooftop installs and domestic/social housing projects across the UK.

Ideal candidates hold NVQ3 Electrical Installation, 18th Edition, 2391, CIS/UTR, own van, and Solar PV experience; self-employed on contract.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• 2391 Inspection & Testing.
• Battery Storage qualification preferred.
• ECS Gold Card.
• Previous Solar PV installation experience.
• Own van and tools.
• UTR & CIS registered.
• Self-employed/contract basis.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial rooftop Solar PV systems.
• AC/DC electrical installation.
• Install and commission inverters.
• Work alongside roofing and installation teams to deliver projects safely and efficiently.
• Install residential Solar PV systems.
• Fit inverters, smoke alarms and extractor fans.
• Typical systems range from 57 panels.
• All surveys and materials are provided.

Whether you're a Solar Electrician specialising in large commercial rooftop installations or a Solar Electrician with experience delivering domestic and social housing projects, we've got long-term opportunities ready to go. If you're a qualified Solar Electrician looking for consistent work, immediate starts and a strong pipeline of projects, we'd like to hear from you. This is an excellent opportunity for a Solar Electrician wanting regular contract work with established clients across the UK.

Requirements
