Job summary

OXBO is seeking a Project Manager to lead delivery of utility-scale Solar and Battery Storage (BESS) projects in Scotland from pre-construction through handover to O&M.

You will manage multiple projects, ensuring construction, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across sites, while coordinating grid interfaces and contracting activities. A UK driving licence and willingness to travel to site are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience within the renewable energy delivery phase.
• Experience with Solar PV, Battery Storage (BESS) or Onshore wind projects.
• Experience in contract preparation, negotiation and administration.
• Strong knowledge of UK & Ireland Construction, CDM, Health & Safety, and environmental regulations.
• Understanding of Grid operators and connection processes.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to site.

Responsibilities

• Delivery management of multiple utility-scale Solar and BESS construction projects.
• Management of all aspects of projects including Construction, Health & Safety, and quality standards across sites.
• Manage grid agreement interfaces, general engineering activities, procuring and contract administration.
• Identify construction risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect programme and cost.
• Monitor and report deviations to scope, schedule, or budget with recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Undertake development and O&M works to gain end-to-end project life-cycle knowledge.
