Job Opportunity

We are seeking self-employed contractors or individuals owning an ATV to carry out soil sampling and associated in-field services for our farmer clients across Suffolk and Essex, based in the Sudbury area. This role is suitable for those available throughout the year.

Candidate Profile

• Self-motivated, organized, and experienced in customer-facing activities
• Able to work outdoors year-round in all conditions
• Physically fit and comfortable working alone
• Full training will be provided

Ideal Candidate

• Strong communication skills (phone and face-to-face)
• Full UK driving license, ideally with trailer license
• IT literate
• Own ATV
• Attention to detail
• Experience in soil sampling is advantageous but not essential

Key Responsibilities

• Performing GPS soil sampling in the field
• Handling digital data and maps
• Managing customer orders and schedules
• Providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
• Participating in health and safety practices in line with SOYL’s policies
