SOCOTEC Building Control Limited in Doncaster is seeking a proactive Laboratory Technician to join our Infrastructure team and support soil material testing to UKAS standards. You’ll prepare, test and report on soil samples, ensuring accuracy and compliance while maintaining calibration of lab equipment.

You'll contribute to a diverse range of projects, work closely with colleagues, and develop your skills in a supportive environment with a strong focus on quality, safety and career growth

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.
• Laboratory testing experience with SHE/quality procedures knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork ability.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, testing and disposing of soil samples
• Completing test sheets, calculations and reports
• Maintaining equipment calibration and documentation
