Job summary

Computer Futures is seeking a WCS Test Engineer to own testing of Warehouse Control System solutions within complex warehouse automation environments. You will design, plan, and execute testing across WCS integrations, validating WMS, PLCs, AMRs, and other equipment before deployment to sites.

The role requires hands-on manual testing in emulation/simulation environments, leadership of testing activities, and producing clear documentation and evidence to support FATs and customer demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Experience testing WCS integrations with WMS, PLCs, AMRs, and material handling systems.
• Ability to design and execute test plans and strategies.
• Strong analytical skills to translate requirements into test cases.
• Hands-on testing in emulation or simulation environments.
• Experience leading FATs and customer demonstrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for WCS solutions.
• Lead testing activities across project lifecycles and ensure quality outcomes.
• Perform hands-on manual testing in emulation/simulation environments.
• Validate integrations between WCS and WMS, PLCs, AMRs, and other systems.
• Produce clear testing documentation and reports.
• Investigate defects and collaborate with teams to resolve issues.
