T2M Resourcing is working with a growing technology and manufacturing business to recruit a Software Test Engineer to provide expertise in software testing activities.

Responsibilities of the Software Test Engineer:

1. Testing embedded software for the automotive and aerospace industries.
2. Developing automated test systems.
3. Utilising testing tools such as ISOLAR and ETAS INCA.
4. Participating in Agile software development lifecycles.
5. Creating and executing test scripts.
6. Using dSPACE for hardware-in-loop simulations.
7. Understanding AUTOSAR and MISRA-C software standards.
8. Collaborating with Software and Systems Engineers to meet development deadlines.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Systems Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. ISEB or ISTQB certifications.
3. Experience with Software-in-loop and Hardware-in-loop testing and simulation.
4. Knowledge of Functional Safety and ISO 26262 standards.
5. Previous software development experience is advantageous.
6. Ability to develop automated test scripts.
7. Experience with automotive/aerospace software development processes.
8. Proficiency with hardware, systems, and software testing tools.
9. Strong problem-solving skills.

This role is based in Milton Keynes and offers a hybrid working model with up to 2 days remote work per week.
