As a Software Test Engineer, you will play a key role in building, maintaining, and supporting technical solutions that enhance the quality, reliability, and efficiency of our testing processes. Reporting to the QA Tech Lead, you will work closely with QA colleagues and developers, focusing on implementing automated tests, developing testing tools, and contributing to platform monitoring.

Your main goal will be to improve release confidence, reduce manual testing efforts, and enable earlier detection of issues within the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain automated tests and supporting tools to enhance testing effectiveness and efficiency.
2. Collaborate with QA, developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and identify areas for technical QA involvement.
3. Contribute to the development and maintenance of in-house monitoring services, test harnesses (primarily in C#), and performance testing solutions (in Python).
4. Support the integration of automated tests and tools into Continuous Integration pipelines, ensuring reliable execution and quick feedback.
5. Participate in improving QA frameworks, tools, and processes by exploring new technologies and practices.
6. Assist in investigating production issues using monitoring tools and diagnostic data to support QA and development teams.

Skills & Experience Required

• Test automation experience focusing on API testing, ideally 2+ years.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, especially C#.
• Experience testing APIs within a service-oriented architecture.
• Knowledge of SQL Server and PostgreSQL, including T-SQL and PL/pgSQL queries and basic administration.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating automated tests into build workflows.
• Strong grasp of software testing principles and automation practices in modern QA.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with enterprise messaging systems like RabbitMQ.
• Exposure to performance and load testing tools and concepts.
• Experience working in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and contributing to observability (logs, metrics, alerts).
• Knowledge of the betting and gaming industry.
• Keen interest in sports.
