Job summary

Morson Talent is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join a highly skilled engineering team working on complex, defence and maritime software and systems. You will drive the delivery of software test activities across the full development lifecycle.

You will collaborate with software, systems and integration engineers to develop robust test solutions, perform verification and validation, and produce clear technical reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
• Proven experience supporting or leading software testing activities.
• Strong understanding of software testing within the SDLC.
• Experience planning and delivering manual and regression testing.
• Knowledge of lifecycle processes and associated tools.
• Experience translating requirements into effective test solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and reporting ability.
• Good technical documentation and report-writing skills.

Software Test Engineer

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Software Test Engineer to join a highly skilled engineering team working on complex,high-integrity software and systems within the defence and maritime sector.

The role will focus on the delivery of software test activities throughout the software development lifecycle,including test planning,test management,execution,verification and reporting.

You will work closely with software,systems and integration engineers to develop logical,robust test solutions for technically challenging systems.

• Planning,managing and delivering software test activities throughout the software development lifecycle

Essential Skills & Experience

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Software Engineering,Computer Science or a related discipline

• Knowledge of software engineering lifecycle processes and associated tools
