In this role, as PMS Lead you will take charge of leading and managing team of software & controls engineers to ensure the successful delivery of projects and tenders. You will also work with cross functional engineering team and project managers to drive project on time delivery, supporting product development, overseeing lifecycle management, and proactively managing risks.
As a PMS Lead, you will be responsible for:
Providing strong technical and managerial leadership to achieve functional priorities and act as technical authority
Collaborating with functional managers to establish realistic operational goals within projects, contributing to their successful execution
Accountability for the on-time delivery of projects/products that meet quality standards and cost constraints
Leading lean process for software configurations including test & validation process
Identify and mitigate technical risks at both the product and execution levels (ITO & OTR), ensuring project success and customer satisfaction
Proactively identify challenges in the delivery schedule, negotiate necessary changes via change management
Support team by preparing and reviewing technical specifications for control system projects based on workload and priority
Support complex proposal development and bid preparation for new projects by creating technical offering, costing, and scheduling information required for PRISMIC PMS solutions
Manage all aspects of the team, including training, development, and performance management, in accordance with business policies and procedures
To be successful in this role you will:
Bachelor’s degree in software, electrical, control, computer science, or similar related subject.
Have Proven experience in leading and managing software/controls engineers within power, industrial, or automation sectors.
Have strong C++or PLC/SCADA equivalent programming/configuration experience or equivalent technologies.
Understanding of electrical systems (preferable electrical control systems).
Awareness of Lean Six Sigma methodology.
Ability to interpret electrical power system and switchgear components and create technical and functional design specification.
Have experience in leadership, management or mentoring(will be an advantage).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
