Your day at NTT DATA

Own the Software Category Revenue and GP target for the UKI, working with sales, specialists, and partners to deliver against plan. This includes helping drive the largest deals as a subject matter expert, aligning with our Data Inc initiatives and mega account endeavors. The role involves high-level conversations about transformation, interpreting customer requirements, and influencing at the C level. You will own and drive EA, ELA deals for the UK&I business, collaborate with alliance partners like Dell, Cisco, HPE, and PAN, and ensure best practices in deal registration and margin maximization. The role combines management, selling, coaching, and leadership activities to enable sales targets.

What you'll be doing
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Identify market and client needs related to Software in the region and/or country.
  • Develop detailed plans, goals, measures, and reporting to drive sales execution across the portfolio and partner ecosystems.
  • Contribute to the regional development of the Group Services Product and Managed Services portfolio.
  • Increase regional adoption of global services, standards, and architectures.
  • Act as the interface between region GTM Sales Directors, Client Partners, and Product Development teams.
  • Manage Client Partners in the regional and country Software teams, attracting top talent and fostering a winning culture.
  • Own Software profit and loss, including revenue, operating profit, and TCV GP of bookings.
  • Coordinate sales activities, identify target markets, and set performance targets.
  • Guide teams to achieve optimal business outcomes, protect margins, and deliver value.
  • Organize work outputs, prioritize tasks, and drive continuous improvement.
Knowledge, skills, and attributes:

Deep knowledge of industry verticals and managed solutions, including:

  • Datacenter, Networking, Security, and key architectures
  • Software such as Virtualization, Orchestration, Automation
  • Technology and Service adjacencies like Cloud, IoT, AI Ops, DevOps

Strong management, leadership, communication, interpersonal, analytical, and negotiation skills. Ability to handle pressure, understand customer needs, and innovate. Knowledge of service delivery models, core technology offers, and customer service principles. Results-oriented with decisive decision-making abilities.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree with experience or postgraduate degree with leadership experience
  • ITIL, Service Management, and CPSP certifications
Experience required:
  • Experience with Software product marketing, sales coordination, and client engagement
  • Understanding of IT Service Management, change management, and vendor relationships
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, business development, and technical backgrounds
