I am recruiting on behalf of a luxury automotive OEM based in Gaydon, seeking a Software Release Testing & Configuration Analyst to join their team.

Job Description

As a Software Release Testing & Configuration Analyst, your main responsibilities include:

1. Developing and executing test plans and scripts to detect issues.
2. Ensuring the quality and success of various computing technologies.
3. Performing workflow analysis, documenting test results, and recommending quality improvements.
4. Collaborating with Applications Development/Systems Software Engineers to resolve software defects and improve product configuration.
5. Conducting configuration management activities, including control of initial release, version control, and change management.

Qualifications / Skills needed

1. Proficiency in scripting languages to automate test cases.
2. Project and process management skills.
3. Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
4. Experience coaching and reviewing others’ work.
5. Strong problem-solving skills.
