Vitalograph is a leading manufacturer of medical respiratory diagnostic devices and software, used in the diagnosis of respiratory disorders, and advanced high-reliability equipment and software systems used in respiratory end-point clinical drug trials.We have designed, developed and manufactured respiratory diagnostic devices, software, and consumables for healthcare professionals, for 60 years. Headquartered in the UK, Vitalograph has operations in Ireland, Germany, and the USA.

We now have a position available for a Software QA Engineer. Reporting to the CTO and working closely with the VP of Digital Health Technology, the primary duties of this role will be the verification and testing of all elements of the Vitalograph Digital Health Platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing test plans, test cases and execution of test runs. You will work closely with other development teams and cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, product managers, and regulatory experts, to ensure our software meets industry standards and enhances patient outcomes.

Responsibilities as a Software QA Engineer:
• Generation/maintenance/execution of Test Plans and schedules.
• Collaborate with App and web engineers to ensure efficiency of test cases.
• Documenting traceability matrices and evidence generation in a highly regulated environment.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
• Ensure that all work and tasks carried out are consistent and compliant with Vitalograph’s SOPs.
• Work closely with our software developers, test engineers and business analysts as part of our development team to build a secure and scalable platform.
• Conduct specification reviews to ensure all requirements are testable.
• Creation of automated tests and scheduling of test runs.

Requirements as a Software QA Engineer:
• Computer Science Degree or equivalent engineering degree that includes software development.
• 3+ years’ experience as a Software QA Engineer.
• Strong problem-solving skills and great attention to detail.
• Effective interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
• Capable of prioritising work and multitasking.

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

• Experience with .NET, Web API, and SQL Server and working in a regulated environment.
• Experience working with mobile and Web based applications.
• Experience using test management tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar. Apply Now
