Salary: up to £74,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: typically 3 days per week on-site, due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

Simulation Software UK works to deliver the MBDA UK test capability in partnership with colleagues across the business and other areas of Software Engineering. The Software Project Leader is responsible for the delivery of software development projects from initiation to completion.
The Software Project Leader plays a crucial role in ensuring project success by coordinating the efforts of multi-functional teams, managing budgets, project timelines, quality, and delivering software solutions that meet customer requirements. This includes authorising software releases, negotiating scope to fit schedule/budget, and contributing to project reporting.
You will combine your technical knowledge with your project management skills to drive project execution, facilitate effective communication, and ensure project goals are achieved.
The Software Project Leader is the Software Design Authority and the Work Package Manager, accountable for the cost, quality, and schedule aspects of the activity.
Our mission as a function is to facilitate robust and timely testing of Weapon Systems and ensure MBDA continues to provide a decisive military capability for our home nations and their allies.
