Job Description
Software Engineering Team Lead / Technical Scrum Master
IntaPeople are currently supporting a fast-growing Fintech based in Cardiff. Due to continued growth and team size, they now require an experience Software Engineering Team Lead to join their high performing, cross functional team. We’re looking for candidates who come from a Software Engineering background (ideally in Java, but not essential) and who have experience managing technical teams whilst ensuring the successful delivery of client projects.
You will be responsible for maintain deliverables, championing AGILE and running sprint/scrum meetings on a weekly/monthly basis. Partnering with Product Owners, you will help plan and execute high priority deliverables whilst driving continuous improvement and a positive culture within the team.
Skills at a glance;
Reporting to the Head of Delivery, you will champion AGILE ways of working whilst providing support to the wider organisation to identify skills gaps and training opportunities. Working with other internal stakeholders you will also provide project visibility and progress updates to ensure the team are sticking to delivery time-lines and go live updates.
Whilst this role is to be seen as ‘hands off’ we are looking for candidates with programming experience in order to be able to communicate more effectively and provide solutions when needed.
