TP ICAP Group is seeking a Software Engineering Team Lead to drive delivery across the full software lifecycle in the Global Analytics domain. You will operate as a player–coach, combining hands-on C++ engineering with people management to elevate engineering standards and velocity.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted development, secure practices, and cloud-native Linux services on Docker/Kubernetes, with collaboration across DevOps and architecture teams. Based in London, UK.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on expertise in modern C++ (C++17 or later) including multithreading and memory management.
• Experience developing native C++ apps on Linux with performance considerations.
• Practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes or similar container orchestration.
• Proven capability in automated testing and production-ready software.
• Experience leading software teams and advocating engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Own engineering delivery across the full software lifecycle from design to production support.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and enforce coding standards and reviews.
• Lead architectural decisions and identify defects to drive improvements.
• Establish automated testing and release practices for reliable delivery.
• Embed AI-enabled engineering practices and ensure secure, maintainable code.
