Blaize is seeking a Software Engineer in Leeds to join a close-knit team. You will work with mentorship from day one and contribute to an energy-efficient AI platform designed for real-world deployment.

Qualifications

• Exposure to at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C++, Java, or similar).
• Basic understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Familiarity with version control concepts (Git).
• Comfortable reading and debugging code, even at a foundational level.
• Solid grounding in mathematics and analytical problem-solving.
• Curiosity about how systems and technology work under the hood.
• Collaborative, proactive, and open mindset - comfortable sharing ideas and working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Blaize's Video Analytics library and contribute to internal tooling.
• Ramp up on tooling, codebase, and processes with the Solutions engineering team.
• Collaborate with AI Development, Platform, Rapid Prototyping and Solution Validation teams on cross-functional work.
• Take on increasingly independent tasks as familiarity grows.
• Contribute to an open, collaborative team culture by sharing ideas and feedback.
