Opencast is seeking Software Developers who value craftsmanship and collaborative, thorough software delivery. Roles involve building user-centred services with Java or Scala, applying OO design, and adhering to strong testing practices.

You will work on government-related digital services aligned with GDS standards, collaborating in agile teams to continuously improve solutions. Travel to client locations across the UK is expected.

Qualifications

Experience as a Software Developer delivering high-quality services
Strong testing practices and reliability focus
Experience with Java or Scala and OO design principles
Government/public sector project experience
Delivery of complex digital services aligned to GDS standards
Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn continuously
Effective collaboration within agile teams
