We are looking for a senior MES Software Engineer with a Degree in Engineering (Computer Science/Information Technology preferred). The right candidate will have full software development life cycle experience. This role involves being fully customer-facing and responsible for aligning solutions with customer requirements to deliver business value. As a Software Engineer, you will be part of the delivery services group that focuses on delivering world-class Manufacturing Execution Systems based on AVEVA MES to manufacturing customers across industries such as Food & Beverage, Consumer Packaged Goods, Discrete Manufacturing, Specialty Chemicals, and Life Sciences.

In this job you will:

Technical Solutions:

• Contribute to and implement reference architectures through technical and design oversight for project teams in the region;
• Identify, adopt, and curate reusable engineering components and templates from ongoing projects, ensuring functionality, quality, and proper documentation, supporting regional teams and delivery partners;
• Ensure transfer of mature reusable components into R&D and their integration back into templates upon release;
• Provide guidance on third-party products anticipated for use within technical solutions.

System Integrator/Partner Support:

• Support partners to enable them to sell and deliver solutions collaboratively with regional delivery teams;
• Work with regional teams and Solution Architects to provide success consulting services on partner-led projects;
• Maintain quality of partner work through audits and escalation support to ensure customer satisfaction;
• Drive processes to balance Onshore/Offshore resources within MES projects in line with Global Services targets;
• Guide regional delivery teams on work breakdown and resource allocation between regional and SDC teams;
• Ensure sufficient competency and resource availability within SDC to meet backlog and frontlog needs.

Competency Development and Knowledge Management:

• Define required competencies and skills for regional teams and partners to ensure successful delivery of technical solutions;
• Arrange training and certification for these competencies;
• Document and maintain best practices for technical solutions;
• Perform other responsibilities as needed.

We are looking for:

Candidates experienced in Production Scheduling and Optimization, Production Sequencing, Order Execution, Genealogy and Traceability, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), ERP Integration, Production Quality, and Automation. SPC experience and Warehouse Management experience are advantageous.

• Proven experience in building MES solutions with demonstrated leadership in project execution.
