Job summary

Stripe is seeking an intern in London to work on projects across our stack that directly impact how millions of businesses operate. You’ll own problems end to end with support from your manager and teammates, and you’ll learn how to ship high-quality work at scale.

You’ll gain exposure to AI tooling, collaborate with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders, and contribute to real production code while expanding your understanding of the global economy.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, math, or a related field.
• Previous internships or multi-person projects showing feedback from mentors and peers.
• Able to learn unfamiliar systems with mentoring and independent research.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate development while maintaining rigor.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a real member of the team; engage in discussions, decisions, and design.
• Write software that ships to production and impacts Stripe’s users.
• Give and receive technical feedback through code reviews or design discussions.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to incorporate feedback.
• Learn quickly by asking questions and working with your team and AI tooling.
