Job summary

Stripe is seeking a proven engineering leader to build and ship large-scale financial products within the Money Movement and Storage team in London. You will guide engineers, own end-to-end delivery, and partner with product, design, and infrastructure to unlock new capabilities.

The role combines hands-on technical work with people leadership, requiring strong architecture judgment, cross-functional collaboration, and a commitment to mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building and leading teams to ship high-quality products.
• 4+ years of experience building user-facing software with a strong technical background.
• Experience designing backend services and full-stack systems.
• Ability to drive technical clarity with senior engineers on architecture and strategy.
• Autonomy and responsibility in ambiguous environments; mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery across a range of systems and technologies.
• Collaborate with product, design, infra, marketing and operations.
• Lead recruitment and grow engineers on the team.
• Develop engineers and contribute to engineering-wide initiatives.
