• Basic understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.

Responsibilities

• Execute basic software solution design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
• Write secure, high-quality code in at least one programming language with peer guidance.
• Interpret architecture and design representations and nonfunctional requirements to develop secure, stable software within a defined architecture.
• Support the design, build, and operation of resilient, scalable services deployed to AWS in line with our public cloud standards.
• Apply automation to reduce manual work in the software development life cycle.
• Address basic code quality issues.
• Use enterprise-authorized AI coding assistance to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity, validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards.
• Apply software development life cycle tools, including authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value of automation.
• Gather, analyze, and synthesize basic data sets for technical troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
• Break down routine technical tasks to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Participate in software engineering communities of practice and events exploring emerging cloud technologies.
