Qualifications

• Proven production-oriented software engineering experience in large-scale environments.

Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven, production-oriented software engineering experience in large-scale environments.
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability, with a strong full-stack background.
• Proficiency in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in one or more modern programming languages, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Solid experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure automation using Terraform.
• Demonstrated ability to support technical initiatives and mentor junior engineers.
• Strong experience across the entire Software Development Life Cycle, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security best practices.
• Proficiency in database design and querying (SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience working in agile teams and leveraging coding assistants and development harnesses to streamline software delivery.
• Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools in the work environment, with the ability to critically evaluate, validate, and refine AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations.
• Experience with modern front-end technologies, such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud technologies, especially AWS and Terraform.
• Familiarity with AI/ML and GenAI tools and platforms.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with a track record of delivering high-impact solutions.

• Contribute learnings and reusable patterns to improve broader team effectiveness.
• Apply knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value realized by automation.
