TD SYNNEX in the United Kingdom is seeking a versatile developer to design and maintain backend services using Java, while delivering accessible frontend features with TypeScript and React. You will leverage Python for analytics and automation, and integrate with foundation-model APIs.

You’ll collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, apply rigorous testing and observability practices, and contribute to engineering standards in a hybrid setup across UK offices.

Qualifications

• A STEM degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong Java fundamentals or in a statically typed language.
• Experience with JavaScript and modern web development basics.
• Good relational-database knowledge and SQL.
• Experience with Git, Docker, automated testing and standard workflows.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
• Strong communication, collaboration and problem solving.
• Ability to own defined work and contribute to design.
• Desirable: Spring Boot, TypeScript and React.
• Familiarity with AWS services (ECS/Lambda/S3/RDS) and Snowflake/Redis.
• Experience with foundation-model APIs and tool integration.
• Understanding of API design, CI/CD, observability, and production support.
• Awareness of AI security, privacy, reliability and cost considerations.
• Experience in digital/marketing/agency fast-paced environments.

• Design, build, test and maintain backend services and APIs using Java.
