Job summary

SR2 Consulting seeks experienced Guidewire specialists for cloud migration programmes across global teams. We value hands-on PolicyCenter or BillingCenter expertise, from developers to leads and architects, with knowledge of configuration, integrations and customisations.

You will collaborate with analysts, testers and international delivery groups to move core insurance platforms to Guidewire Cloud. Roles vary by seniority and may involve shaping technical decisions, reviewing engineering work

Qualifications

• Direct technical delivery experience with PolicyCenter or BillingCenter.
• Experience with Guidewire components you have built, configured, integrated or supported.
• Development skills including Gosu, Java, Guidewire configuration, APIs and integration frameworks.
• Experience through development, testing and release lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Assess existing implementations and identify changes needed for Guidewire Cloud migration.
• Develop or adapt configuration, business rules and product functionality.
• Review integrations and implement changes to interfaces and downstream connections.
• Investigate customisations and technical dependencies for migration.
• Support data migration, testing and reconciliation with specialist teams.
• Resolve defects and support release, cutover and stabilisation activities.
• For senior roles, shape technical decisions and coordinate across distributed teams.

SR2 Consulting is seeking technical Guidewire specialists for cloud migration programmes delivered across global teams.

We're interested in people with hands-on PolicyCenter or BillingCenter expertise, from developers and technical consultants through to leads and architects. Experience in either product is relevant; you do not need both.

These opportunities suit people who understand how configuration, integrations and existing customisations affect a migration, and can work through those dependencies with the wider delivery team.

Depending on your experience, your contribution could include

• Assessing existing implementations and identifying changes needed for the move to Guidewire Cloud.

• Developing or adapting configuration, business rules and product functionality.

• Reviewing integrations and implementing changes to interfaces and downstream connections.

• Investigating customisations, technical dependencies and compatibility issues.

• Supporting data migration, testing and reconciliation alongside specialist teams.

• Resolving defects and supporting release, cutover and stabilisation activities.

• For senior roles, shaping technical decisions, reviewing engineering work and coordinating across distributed teams.

The experience that matters

• Direct technical delivery experience with PolicyCenter or BillingCenter.

• A clear understanding of the components you have personally built, configured, integrated or supported.

• Relevant development skills, which may include Gosu, Java, Guidewire configuration, APIs and integration frameworks.

• Experience working through the development, testing and release lifecycle.

• The ability to collaborate effectively with business analysts, testers, architects and international delivery teams.

Especially relevant

Previous Guidewire Cloud migrations, upgrades or cloud implementations, including adapting existing functionality and integrations for the target environment.
