SR2 Consulting in London is seeking a Guidewire Functional Consultant with strong London Market experience to support an insurance transformation programme and connect business requirements with PolicyCenter.

You will lead workshops with stakeholders, map processes, translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria, work with architects and developers, and support testing and UAT across distributed teams. Experience with IPLM and Guidewire Cloud deployments is a plus.

Formación

• Experience delivering Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions in a London Market context.
• Ability to translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experienced in facilitating workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
• Track record producing clear requirements for engineering and testing teams.
• Experience supporting end-to-end implementation (design, build, test, user acceptance).
• Comfort with working across distributed teams and dependencies.

Responsabilidades

• Lead workshops with business stakeholders to understand policy administration requirements, operational challenges and priorities.
• Map existing processes and define how they should operate within the future solution.
• Translate requirements into clear user stories, business rules, process flows and acceptance criteria.
• Work with architects and developers to assess where standard PolicyCenter functionality fits, where configuration is required and where integrations need to support the process.
• Help define policy lifecycle requirements, including submissions, quotations, binding, endorsements, renewals and cancellations.
• Identify dependencies between PolicyCenter, upstream data sources and downstream systems.
• Support functional testing and UAT, clarify expected behaviour and help resolve defects.
• Assess the business impact of design decisions and communicate trade-offs clearly.
• Collaborate with global delivery teams to maintain a shared understanding of requirements and support implementation readiness.

Help shape how complex insurance business is delivered through Guidewire.

SR2 Consulting is looking for a Guidewire Functional Consultant with strong London Market experience to support an insurance transformation programme.

The focus is on connecting business requirements with a workable PolicyCenter solution. You'll work closely with underwriting, operations and technical teams to understand how the business operates, challenge requirements and define functionality that supports real insurance processes.

We're looking for someone who can contribute to detailed product and workflow discussions, explain the implications of different approaches and stay involved through testing and implementation.

What you'll be doing

What you'll bring

• Direct functional delivery experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.

• Strong understanding of London Market insurance, gained through work with a specialty insurer, managing agent, broker or relevant consulting engagement.

• The ability to connect insurance processes with platform functionality and explain how requirements translate into a deliverable solution.

• Experience facilitating workshops and constructively challenging business and technical stakeholders.

• A track record of producing requirements and acceptance criteria that engineering and testing teams can use.

• Experience supporting implementation through design, build, testing and business acceptance.

• Confidence working across distributed teams and managing functional dependencies.

Particularly valuable

• Experience with PolicyCenter IPLM.

• Involvement in Guidewire Cloud implementations, migrations or upgrades.

• Knowledge of subscription business, delegated authority or complex specialty policy structures.

• Experience with policy data migration, integration requirements and reconciliation.
