Job summary

Sony Music Entertainment’s PDEGO team in London’s King’s Cross is seeking a Software Engineer to power technology that supports artists and record labels worldwide. You’ll join a cross-functional squad delivering robust, scalable software.

You’ll write clean, tested code, design distributed systems and microservices, and work with GraphQL/REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL, and AWS. Strong Python/JavaScript/TypeScript and React experience in an agile environment is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with distributed systems and scalable solutions.
• Proficiency with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Experience with GraphQL and REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Familiar with microservices and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with unit and integration tests and agile development.

Responsibilities

• Work with a cross-functional team to build products that empower artists and record labels across the globe
• Contribute to all tiers of our architecture to produce high quality, robust user experiences
• Write clean, tested, maintainable code
• Work closely with product management to understand client requirements
• Participate in re-architecture, refinement and technical design of various systems
