Job summary

Sony Music Entertainment China Ltd. is seeking a Software Engineer for our King’s Cross, London office. You will join PDEGO to power technology that supports artists and labels worldwide, contributing to a cross-functional team to deliver scalable solutions.

You will work across architecture layers, collaborate with product management, and participate in design and testing of distributed systems in an agile environment. This role offers growth and global impact.

Qualifications

We’re seeking a Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience in the following areas.
Experience with distributed systems and scalable solutions.
Experience with GraphQL and REST APIs, SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
Familiar with the software development lifecycle and best practices.
Experience with microservices, APIs, and standards such as REST/HTTP.
Comfortable with AWS Cloud technologies and cloud-native data services.
Experience writing unit and integration tests.
Experience working in an agile team.

Responsibilities

Work with a cross-functional team to build products for artists and labels globally.
Contribute to all tiers of the architecture to deliver high-quality UX.
Collaborate with product management to understand client requirements.
Participate in re-architecture, refinement, and technical design of systems.
