Job summary

Inzpire is seeking a Software Developer (VBS) to help design and implement software for synthetic training devices, including stand‑alone apps and MR integrations. You will work with C/C++/C#, Python, and .NET MAUI, building plugins for VBS4 and other simulators.

Experience with Azure DevOps and Git is essential, and SCRUM experience is advantageous. Willingness to travel to MoD Boscombe Down for hardware work is expected. UK national security vetting may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience building modules/plugins for VBS4 and/or BlueIG using their SDKs.
• Experience in C, C++ or C# and scripting in Python.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Git; SCRUM experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop software for synthetic training devices, including stand‑alone apps and MR integrations.
• Build modules/plugins for VBS4/BlueIG and other simulators.
• Collaborate with team using SCRUM; travel to MoD Boscombe Down as needed.
