Job summary

Boeing UK is seeking a Software Simulation Engineer to contribute to simulation models, virtual environments, and related platforms across air, land, and maritime domains. You will join a growing engineering capability focused on simulation programmes with potential cross-domain opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree or higher in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• Ability to obtain security clearance.
• Proficiency in C++, Lua Scripting or one of the similar programming languages.
• Familiarity with Physics-based Modelling and Simulation system Engineering principals.

Responsibilities

• Supports the design, architecture, and development of simulation models, simulation visualizations, virtual environments/platforms and frameworks to enhance test performance, safety, and durability of software and hardware systems throughout the entire product lifecycle.
• Supports partnership with stakeholders to review and identify simulation requirements and dynamics of the systems being simulated.
• Supports designing, modeling, simulation, testing, and analysis to assess and optimize overall system performance and capabilities.
