Job summary

Boeing Defence United Kingdom Limited is seeking a Software Engineer–Simulation to design, implement and integrate simulation models and virtual environments across defence platforms.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across UK sites, contribute to autonomous behaviours and training simulations, and work within a design-driven, safety-focused culture that values collaboration and first-time quality.

Qualifications

• BS degree or higher in engineering or computer science or related fields.
• Ability to obtain security clearance.
• Proficiency in C++, Lua scripting.
• Familiarity with physics-based modelling and simulation principles.

Responsibilities

• Supports the design, architecture, and development of simulation models and virtual environments to enhance test performance and safety.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to review simulation requirements and system dynamics.
• Assists in designing, modelling, testing, and analysis to optimize overall system performance and capabilities.
