Job summary

Neo4j is seeking a Software Engineer in the Connectors team to design and build connectors that expose the Neo4j database to a wide range of environments, including cloud and on-premises deployments. You will develop streaming data ingestion APIs, enhance core database features, and occasionally create front-end interfaces for connectors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production software development experience.
• Experience designing multi-threaded systems and algorithms.
• Hands-on backend experience with Kotlin, Java, or Go.
• Experience with cloud or on-prem deployments and data-processing infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect connectors for the Neo4j database.
• Build and maintain connectors for various technologies.
• Design streaming and data ingestion APIs to speed up Neo4j usage.
• Collaborate across teams to enhance core database features.
• Occasionally develop front-ends for connectors or integrations requiring user interaction.
