Job summary

Neo4j is seeking a skilled software engineer to join the Connectors team. You will design and implement connectors for the Neo4j database, build and maintain connectors for a range of technologies, and design streaming APIs to speed data ingestion.

You’ll collaborate with other teams to improve core features and may build front-ends for integrations when needed. Applicants should have 5+ years of production-grade software development experience, be proficient in Kotlin/Java/Go, and have exposure

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing production-level software.
• Experience designing multi-threaded systems and algorithms.
• Hands-on with backend languages such as Kotlin, Java, or Go.
• Experience with distributed streaming platforms and data processing pipelines.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be part of designing and architecting connectors for the Neo4j database.
• Build and maintain new and existing connectors for various technologies.
• Design new streaming and data ingestion APIs to improve Neo4j usability.
• Collaborate across teams to enhance core database features.
• Occasionally build front-ends for connectors or integrations requiring user interaction.
