Job summary

LHH in Luton is seeking experienced C# .NET Developers to join our Integrated Mission Solutions team. You will develop robust applications in a mature software environment, with hybrid working (4 days on-site, 1 day remote) and a 12-month contract.

Ideal candidates have strong C#/.NET, OO design, and experience across the full software lifecycle, including CI/CD, automated testing, and Agile methods. Defence/EW exposure is a plus, with SC clearance required.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in C# and .NET within Windows environment.

The Role

We are looking for experienced C# .NET Developers who can work with minimal supervision to support current and future programmes.

Working within the Integrated Mission Solutions sector of the Electronic Warfare business, you’ll have the opportunity to work on the development of advanced defence technology within an established and mature software development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop robust software applications using C# and .NET within a Windows environment.
• Take ownership of complex development tasks across the full software lifecycle, from requirements through to integration, testing and delivery.
• Apply strong object-oriented design principles and software verification and validation techniques.
• Contribute effectively within a highly skilled engineering team while working independently when required.
• Support the delivery of high-quality, maintainable software across current and future programmes.
• Strong commercial experience developing applications using C# and .NET, including web-based applications.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design and modern software development methodologies.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and practices.
• Understanding and practical experience of CI/CD practices.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and deliver high-quality solutions with minimal supervision.
• Experience working within Agile environments, including Scrum or Kanban.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Previous experience within Defence or Electronic Warfare environments.
• Experience with WPF, WinForms and Visual Studio.
