Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a C# Software Engineer in Luton to support defence-focused systems. The role involves delivering C# .NET applications, owning tasks through full lifecycle, and contributing to automation and CI/CD within a hybrid onsite setup.

The contract runs 12 months, four days on site and one day remote, with SC clearance required and a remuneration of £78ph (UMB) inside IR35.

Qualifications

Strong experience in C# .NET and web-based apps.
Experience across the full software development lifecycle.
Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and practices.
Experience with CI/CD.
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
Understanding of microservices architecture.
Full UK Security Check (SC) clearance required.

Responsibilities

Develop robust applications using C# .NET within a Windows environment.
Take ownership of complex tasks from requirements through integration, testing and delivery.
Apply object-oriented design principles and verification techniques.
Develop and maintain web-based applications.
Contribute to automated testing frameworks and CI/CD practices.
Collaborate with a development team while delivering tasks independently.
