Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a C# Software Engineer in Luton to support defence-focused systems. The role involves delivering C# .NET applications, owning tasks through full lifecycle, and contributing to automation and CI/CD within a hybrid onsite setup.

The contract runs 12 months, four days on site and one day remote, with SC clearance required and a remuneration of £78ph (UMB) inside IR35.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in C# .NET and web-based apps.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and practices.
• Experience with CI/CD.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Full UK Security Check (SC) clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust applications using C# .NET within a Windows environment.
• Take ownership of complex tasks from requirements through integration, testing and delivery.
• Apply object-oriented design principles and verification techniques.
• Develop and maintain web-based applications.
• Contribute to automated testing frameworks and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with a development team while delivering tasks independently.
