Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to join our ever-evolving Worldpay Alternative Payments team and help shape the future of global commerce. You will own developing high-quality code, gathering requirements, and collaborating across teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs.

Qualifications

Proven experience and/or passion for software development.
Degree level education in computing, math or science (or equivalent).
Knowledge of agile methodologies.
Experience delivering work to schedule and specification.

Responsibilities

Produce well structured, maintainable, reliable and fit for purpose code.
Produce system requirements and estimates from business requirements.
Proactively identify and suggest improvements to team practices.
Participate in out-of-hours support one week out of five.
Demonstrate a can-do attitude and responsibility for wider implications.
Adapt to changing business priorities with a flexible approach.
