Job summary

OpenSource in London is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build and maintain scalable products using Python and TypeScript. You will work closely with Product, Design and Engineering to deliver features and improve the platform.

This hands-on role offers opportunities to influence architecture, mentor colleagues and raise engineering standards while contributing to cloud-native solutions on Azure.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with Python and TypeScript.
• Experience with Next.js and NestJS.
• Experience building cloud native applications on Azure.
• Experience working on large scale software platforms.
• A good understanding of Agile and DevOps practices.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing and maintaining scalable software applications.
• Building reliable APIs and backend services.
• Delivering new features alongside Product, Design and Engineering.
• Contributing to architecture and technical direction.
