Job summary

LinuxRecruit is seeking a Software Developer to join our newly formed London-based team to work on high-impact backend systems that support new products and customers. You will be responsible for building and operating scalable, production-grade SaaS applications in a cloud-native environment.

The role is hands-on with ownership—from designing and coding to deployment and operation at scale—spanning data processing, APIs and customer-facing functionality.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend development experience.
• Experience building and operating high-scale SaaS applications.
• Strong understanding of system design and software engineering principles.
• Hands-on with CI pipelines, service level testing and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Build next-generation platforms and backend systems for new products and customers.
• Own design, coding and deployment, ensuring operation at scale.
• Work on APIs, data processing and customer-facing functionality in a cloud-native environment.
• Collaborate with product, research, automation and engineering teams to turn ideas into production-ready solutions.
