Job summary
Proofpoint is hiring a Software Engineer for our Satori AI agent platform. You will design and build components powering autonomous security operations, with fellow engineers using the platform to protect Fortune 100 customers 24/7/365.
We value Python and TypeScript skills, experience with microservices and cloud deployments, and a proactive attitude to ship robust software at scale. This role requires on-site work in Belfast with some flexibility distributed across teams worldwide.
Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience designing, developing, and supporting microservices in a cloud environment.
- Proficiency in Python; TypeScript/Node preferred.
- Experience with AI agent frameworks and LLM SDKs.
Responsibilities
- Design agent runtimes and SDKs for the Satori platform and contribute to release-ready tooling.
- Ship production-grade code and own services; collaborate with product tech leads.
- Turn one-off integrations into reusable platform capabilities across teams.
