Job summary

Aiimi in Milton Keynes is seeking a Software Developer to help evolve the Workplace AI platform. You will design, build and maintain software across frontend, backend and API layers, collaborating with QA, product managers and data specialists in an Agile team.

The role emphasizes quality, automation, CI/CD, and cloud delivery (Azure/AWS/GCP). Strong coding skills in NodeJS, C#, Angular/React/TypeScript, HTML and CSS are expected, along with a proactive approach to performance and security.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with NodeJS and C# in production environments.
• Frontend experience with Angular, React TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience designing and consuming APIs.
• Exposure to Python in data/AI-related systems.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio, Jira, Git and Agile delivery.
• Experience with AI tools like GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
• Hands-on cloud experience (Azure, AWS or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain software across frontend, backend, and API layers.
• Write clean, tested code aligned with engineering standards.
• Participate in architectural discussions for scalable, performant, secure solutions.
• Collaborate with QA to embed quality, testability, and automation.
• Contribute to sprint planning and Agile delivery.
• Troubleshoot defects and technical debt.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Promote continuous improvement in engineering practices.
