You will work with Node.js and TypeScript on scalable systems, take ownership of technical projects, and collaborate with engineers, product teams and AI specialists to push features into production.

Experience with AWS, PostgreSQL and Docker is preferred, and a passion for emerging AI technologies will help you thrive.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of backend services, REST APIs and software architecture.
• Experience with Git and Docker.
• Familiarity with AWS, Linux and PostgreSQL.
• Ability to take ownership of projects and contribute to technical decisions.
• An interest in conversational AI, LLMs and emerging technologies.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our Athena team and contribute to the development of ConnexAI's core conversational AI platform.

You'll be developing sophisticated applications and backend services that power intelligent AI agents across voice and digital channels. Working on a range of new features and existing platform capabilities, you'll help build reliable, scalable systems that enable businesses to automate and improve customer interactions.

You'll take ownership of technical projects, contribute to architectural decisions and work closely with other engineers, product teams and AI specialists to bring new capabilities into production.

This is an opportunity to work on a rapidly evolving AI product, tackling interesting engineering challenges and having a genuine influence on its technical direction.
