Lockheed Martin is expanding its Gloucester site with multiple Software Engineer roles focused on Defence, Cyber and Intelligence programmes. Qualifications

Experience of Linux development.
Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit 5.x.
Experience with Git version control.
Knowledge of Agile Development using SCRUM.
Understanding of Oracle/ Relational Databases and/or Mongo.
Understanding of GitLab CI/CD Pipelines.
Proficiency in Atlassian Suite: Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence.
Understanding of Elasticsearch and Kibana.
Understanding of Hibernate.

Responsibilities

Conduct software development activities under the direction of your Software Engineering Lead.
Design and development of tests to debug software.
Work with customer requirements that are programmed into business/mission applications, using appropriate standards and tools throughout the development lifecycle.
Correct program errors.
Prepare operating instructions.
Document program development.
Analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
Champion automation in the form of IaC, CI/CD and test automation.
