Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is seeking a Software Engineer (Insider Risk Team) to design and develop front-end applications that improve forensic analyst workflows and risk investigations. You’ll work on detecting insider risk events, while supporting back-end services and integrations to underpin these solutions.

The role is hybrid with Edinburgh or Leeds office options, offering collaboration across teams and opportunities to apply modern engineering practices in a leading financial institution.

Qualifications

• Experience developing web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, React or Java.
• Experience integrating APIs into modern, data-driven applications.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP and CI/CD pipelines.

We combine software engineering, analytics and behavioural insights to deliver the Group's Insider Strategy, support data-led decision making and contribute to industry-wide conversations on insider risk!We're looking for a Software Engineer with strong front-end development experience to help us develop innovative tools and capabilities.This is primarily a front-end engineering role, with approximately 60% of your time focused on designing, building and enhancing user-facing applications.
