Are you an experienced software developer with strong team leadership skills and a background in building complex, mathematically driven software? Are you looking for a role where you can remain hands-on while taking responsibility for a development team? If so, this could be the opportunity for you.

The Role

As Software Development Team Lead, you will lead a small, multi-skilled development team responsible for building and enhancing complex, business-critical software products.

This is a hands-on technical leadership position, combining day-to-day team leadership with software development, technical decision-making and delivery. You will support and mentor developers, help establish engineering standards and remain closely involved in designing, developing and improving the underlying software.

The technology environment includes C#, C++ and Unity. You do not need experience with all three technologies, but you must have strong, recent hands‑on commercial experience with at least two of them.

The software involves mathematically complex functionality, so experience developing algorithms, statistical models, simulations or other maths‑led applications will be particularly important.
