You will own services end to end, contribute to technical direction, and mentor other engineers while collaborating with security, compliance, and partner teams to translate requirements into scalable platform capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional software development.
• Experience with designing or architecting scalable systems.
• Experience with the full software development life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate large-scale distributed systems with high availability and low latency.
• Own services end-to-end: architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and on-call rotation.
• Build libraries, integrations, and tooling for Amazon engineering teams to adopt the platform.
• Work with very large datasets: design data models, processing pipelines, and query patterns for speed and cost-effectiveness.
• Partner with security, compliance, and service-owning teams to translate requirements into platform capabilities.
• Contribute to technical direction: write design docs, lead reviews, and influence decisions.
• Mentor other engineers and raise the bar on code quality, security, and operations.
