Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join the E3D development group. The role involves maintaining and enhancing desktop and cloud applications, working in scrum teams, and delivering features aligned to customer engineering disciplines.

You will design, debug and refine features, contribute to automated testing, and ensure timely delivery while embracing Agile and modern software practices. Hybrid working arrangements apply, with on-site requirements at Cambridge or remote

Qualifications

• Proficiency in one or more listed languages (Fortran, C#, C++, PML).
• Awareness of industrial engineering or factory plant design is a plus.
• Experience with Git and automated build pipelines (Azure DevOps).
• Follows Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement features per Product Owner requests.
• Analyze, investigate and debug issues from internal teams and customers.
• Improve quality via automated testing and architectural refactoring.
