Overview
The Full Stack Engineer is responsible for implementing, deploying, and maintaining components and infrastructure supporting the Sentric Music and Believe Publishing application estate. This role involves working closely with the Product and Engineering teams to ensure the overall functionality, quality, and performance of the application.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Delivery: Contribute to the design, development, and modification of applications using technologies including TypeScript/JavaScript, ReactJS, Express, NextJS, HTML, CSS, C#, ASP.NET, SQL and other relevant technologies.
- Deploy solutions across the software estate, support decisions on frameworks, patterns, libraries, infrastructure, and tools, and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Develop robust and secure APIs and integrate with third-party APIs, following industry standards.
- Collaboration: Work with the Product team, Engineering team, and business stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of changes that meet acceptance and quality criteria.
- Ensure seamless integration of server-side and client-side components.
- Participate in team development methodologies and ceremonies including backlog refinement, story elaboration, and daily stand-ups.
- Engineering Practices: Configure and deploy application infrastructure to cloud environments using automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, ensuring scalability, high availability, accessibility, and security.
- Contribute to code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Create and maintain automated tests and technical documentation.
- Support Senior engineers in analysing and optimising application performance by identifying and improving database queries, server-side logic, and system bottlenecks.
- Support and contribute to incident response activities.
Qualifications
- Solid experience in full-stack development: TypeScript/JavaScript, ReactJS, NextJS, Express, HTML, C#, ASP.NET.
- Proficiency with SQL databases and query optimisation.
- Experience designing and integrating robust, secure APIs (including third-party).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and performance optimisation.
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices: testing, code reviews, documentation, Git.
- Experience in Agile environments, collaborating across product, engineering, and business teams.
- Nice to have: AWS/cloud experience, CSS expertise, Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
