Job description

We’re working with a hi-techveteran owned simulation/ data-analytics company which services the defence and security market. Theyare looking to expand their in-house software engineering capability with the addition of a Full Stack Software Developer.

This is a Full Stack role, but the client is open to Front End Developers, looking to develop back end skills, or back end devs interested in learning some front end. This is a great opportunity to work on secure & high-impact defence systems. This is a junior to mid-level role that would suite developers with ideally 2-5 years’ experience, please still apply if your experience levels fall’s outside this.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Developing full-stack solutions for secure defence applications
• Working closely with software engineers, PMs, and security stakeholders
• Building reusable, testable and scalable code with high quality and performance
• Supporting ongoing system integration, testing, and documentation

What We’re Looking For:

• Proficient in modern front-end technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, React or similar).
• Ideally experience with APIs and backend services using modern frameworks and languages (e.g. Python, Node.js, C++).
• Experience working directly with customers
• A team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Clearance Requirements:

• Due to the nature of the work, you must be a sole British national eligible for SC clearance (or already hold it)
